Abstract
We apply the Shannon-Wehrl entropy to the squeezed graviton states by making use of the numerical estimates for the gravitational squeezing parameter as provided by Grishchuk and Sidorov [Phys. Rev.D42, 3413 (1990)]. Compared to the same quantity for laboratory squeezing, we obtain a much higher value for this entropy as an indication of the huge gravitational squeezing during cosmological evolution. We also plot the Shannon-Wehrl entropy for the “thermal” radiation of a Schwarzschild horizon.
