Abstract
w l r i phthalmologic injury during oral and maxillofacial urgery (OMS) is a rare but potentially devastating omplication for the patient and the oral and maxilofacial surgeon. Corneal injuries have been extenively reported; however, a paucity of information is vailable in the OMS literature. We report the case of patient who developed severe corneal edema folowing bilateral temporomandibular joint (TMJ) reonstruction with costochondral rib grafts.
