Abstract
A setup for measuring the sensitivity and threshold energy of photodetectors and optoelectronic devices is described. It includes a continuous-wave CO2 laser, rotating prism, and two types of attenuators. The setup makes it possible to create a calibrated radiation energy with a large attenuation coefficient. An attenuator in the form of an integrating sphere with a collimator objective makes it possible to align the optical axes of the setup and the optoelectronic device under test and obtain a uniform illumination at its entrance pupil.
