Abstract
SUMMARY DETECTION OF CHLAMYDIA TRACHOMATIS INFECTION IN WOMEN WHO HAS CERVISITIS Chlamydia Trachomatis is the most common sexually transmitted disease especially in western society today, and is a major cause of pelvic inflammatory disease, tubal infertility. Chlamydial infection also is a common cause of morbidity among infants. At the maternity Hospital in Samsun, a group of 95 women aged 16-55 years who has evidence of urogenital infection on physical examination were examined for the concurrent present of C.trachomatis-Positive tests for C.trachomatis were found, in 3(2.85 %). We discussed briefly the incidence clinical findings and diagnosis of Chlamydia Trachomatis infection in women who had cervicitis. OZET Chlamydia Trachomatis bugunlerde ozellikle bati toplum¬larinda, seksuel yolla bulasan, cok sik rastlanan bir hasta¬liktir. Pelvik enfiamatuar hastaligin, tubal infertilitenin ve infant morbiditesinin onemli sebeplerinden biridir. Samsun Dogran ve Cocuk Bakimevinde muayene edilen 16-55 yas grubundaki 95, urogenital enfeksiyon bulgulari olan olgu¬lardan alinan endoservikal spesmenlerin sadece % 2.85 (3)inde pozitif Chlamydia Trachomatis enfeksiyonu saptan¬di. Bulgular literatur verileri ile tartisildi.
