Abstract
Objective To investigate the serum β-HCG combined with endometrial thickness was measured for the diagnosis of early ectopic pregnancy. Methods From Feb.2005 to Feb.2009,168 cases of suspected ectopic pregnancy patients with serum β-HCG combined with endometrial thickness measurement, and the follow-up results, gestational age, serum β-HCG,endometrial thickness were comparative analysed in our Hospital. Results The 149 cases including 89 cases with complete data (59.73%) confirmed pseudo-pregnancy,46 cases (30.87%) intrauterine pregnancy,14 cases (9.40%) spontaneous abortion.Ectopic pregnancy and normal intrauterine pregnancy diagnosed determination of blood β-HCG was (842±434)IU/L,(1824±329)IU/L; endometrial thickness of (10.2±1.4)mm,(14.5±1.7)mm; gestational age (6.1±0.4) weeks,(6.2±0.6)weeks.Gestational age groups showed no significant difference (P> 0.05),serum β-HCG level, endometrial thickness difference was significant (P<0.05).And blood β-HCG≤1500 IU/L,endometrial thickness≤10 mm for the early diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy term value, the sensitivity of early diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy was 87.64%,specificity of 73.33%,false positive rate was 26.67%,the false negative rate was 14.17%,positive predictive value of 82.98%,negative predictive value of 80.00%.Conclusions When the blood β-HCG ≤ 1500 IU / L,endometrial thickness ≤ 10 mm in the diagnosis of early ectopic pregnancy has important reference value.
