Abstract

Abstract Solid polymers, including polystyrene, poly(ethylene terephthalate), poly(methyl methacrylate), and so forth, suspended in a paramagnetic aqueous solution were levitated in different vertical positions under a magnetic field gradient. This phenomenon will be used for separating solid polymers.
