Abstract

The transportation of Te- and I-nuclides (produced by a 252Cf-source) out of the spontaneous fission products with O 2/N 2-mixtures in the gas phase has been investigated. The separation yields are given as a function of the oxygen concentration, the temperature of the transfer tube, the temperature of the cooling trap and the streaming velocity. The transfer properties of Tc, Ru, Te and I using oxygen as reactive gas are compared.
