Abstract

Abstract The analysis of the low-boiling pyridine and its alkyl derivatives is a difficult task for gas chromatography due to their close vapor pressures and polarities. The methods described in the paper employ columns packed with N,N,N′,N′-tetrakis(hydroxyethyl)ethylenediamine and metal transition compounds on diatomaceous supports which permit a rapid and reliable separation.
