Abstract
Summary Platelet proelastase and elastase were separated and purified by a two step procedure : 1) elastase was adsorbed to mixed bed cellulose elastin columns and eluted as a single slow migrating protein band on acrylamide disc gel electrophoresis. Proelastase was not adsorbed to this column and was further purified by preparative acrylamide disc gel electrophoresis.
