Abstract

This article draws a parallel between the historical experience of therapeutically oriented sensory space and current understanding of sensory garden as integral part of the territorial organization of rehabilitation facilities and recreational areas of public access. Established modular structure of sensory standards (as a dynamic structure that responds to the demands of social, economic, political and cultural aspects) will speed up the process of adaptation of the person with disabilities in society.
