Abstract

In order to obtain the higher propagating efficiency in the photonic crystal waveguide, in this paper, a two-dimensional photonic crystal waveguide composed of Kerr nonlinear dielectric rods is considered to study the parameters influence on transmittance. The most sensitive factor on transmittance is obtained by the method of (NFDTD) according to the orthogonal numerical analysis, which may be helpful to the nonlinear Kerr medium selection in the photonic crystal waveguide design.
