Abstract
We present a comparative study of two propagation schemes in the semiclassical initial value representation of light-induced vibrational transitions. These schemes are intended to approximate the product of Møller operators involved in the expression of S-matrix elements. As in the case of rotational transitions (L. Bonnet, 2020), one of these schemes proves generally more effective than the other.
