Abstract
Background: Declined sperm quality is the leading cause of male infertility. Objective: The study aimed to evaluate the semen quality in infertile couples, and determine the related factors in Traditional Medicine. Method: In this cross-sectional descriptive study, 150 male patients who visited Center for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital, were recruited. Result: The percentage of Abnormal semen analyses accounted for 63.3%. Abnormal concentration abnormal motility and abnormal morphology are 49.3% and 50.7% respectively. There was a relationship between the clinical form of traditional medicine and progressive sperms, morphology. Conclusion: This study shows a high rate of abnormal semen quality (of male) in infertile couples, especially in terms of sperm morphology.
