Abstract
Regimes of saturation of nonsteady, induced forward scattering of light in media with different types of nonlinearity (thermal, ionization, or striction) are investigated within the framework of the three-wave model. Approximate analytic solutions of the nonlinear equations are found. An approximate self-similar solution of the Gordon sine equation can be constructed similarly.
