Abstract

The article is devoted to one of the stages of creating a predictive psychological model of aggression in adolescents involved in bullying. The hypothesis is that that the aggression of bullying participants is determined by self-esteem components of personality. Based on the results of the empirical study (n = 138, adolescents from 10 to 15 years old) using the Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire and the motivational self-esteem questionnaire of V. A. Zobkov, the authors obtained a regression model that reflects the significant influence of inflated self-esteem and the desire to evade evaluation on bully aggression (R2 = 0,673).
