Abstract

The rate of internal rotation of the amino group in solid p-nitroaniline-N,N-d{sub 2} has been determined from NMR hole-burning experiments. This work represents the first use of quantitative simulations of selectively perturbed deuterium powder patterns and the results demonstrate the potential of this technique for characterization of molecular motion in solids.
