Abstract
A new approach has been proposed for the determination of beta-lactam antibiotics of the cephalosporin group in the presence of penicillins by enzyme-linked receptor assay (ELRA) using recombinant beta-lactam receptor protein BlaR-CTD immobilized on the solid phase. The cross-reaction is suppressed by adding high-affinity anti-penicillin polyclonal antibodies to the liquid phase of the system.
