Abstract
Abstract: This contribution reports for the first time on the effect of Cr doping on the crystallogrsaphic structure of nanostructured 1-D VO2 nano-system by X-ray powder diffraction. The effect of such a doping can be understood by looking at the evolution of the 2 most intense reflections of VO2 1-D nanorods that are the (110)R and (101)R. The correspondence between the monoclinic M1 and rutile R unit cells were found to be most prominent in identifying which scattering planes are equivalent in each phase. More accurately, it was evidenced thatthe (110)R becomes (011)M1 while the (101)R becomes a (200)M1. Such a phenomenon would impact prominently future
