Abstract

Fourier analysis of a series of phase-incremented free induction decays has been used to reconstruct zero, single, double, triple, and four quantum two-dimensional NMR spectra, with or without ω 1 decoupling, from a single time-domain data set. This method is shown to greatly improve the efficiency of data collection for 2D NMR spectra and to provide a series of complementary spectra obtained under exactly identical conditions.
