Abstract
The paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of tools for tooth grinding and tooth honing, the areas of their application are noted. The issues of correction and restoration of grinding wheels and hones are considered in detail, recommendations are given when choosing coolant and oils. It is noted that the accuracy and quality of gears and gear blocks depend on the correct choice of tools for finishing operations. A comparative analysis of the effect of the processing method on the surface quality of the teeth is carried out.
