Abstract

This article discusses the operation «layout geometry» in the COMPASS-3D modeling program and adaptive technology in the Autodesk Inventor program using the example of an assembly unit. As a result of the work, a working prototype of the assembly unit in question was made. Autodesk Inventor is Autodesk»s three — dimensional solid-state and surface parametric design (CAD) system designed to create digital prototypes of industrial products. COMPASS-3D is a Russian import — independent three-dimensional design system, which is widely used for the design of products of the main and auxiliary industries in mechanical engineering, instrumentation, aircraft, shipbuilding and machine tool construction.
