Abstract
The objective of this study is to explore the sports exchange between North and South Korea through a selection and concentration strategy and to propose efficient sports exchange strategies. With the premise of limited national resources, this paper suggests a selection and concentration strategy for promoting the inter-Korean sports cooperation. As for an efficient and influential strategy for sports exchange between the North and South, the direct exchange of sports should mainly take precedence over the indirect exchange through sports, although the indirect exchange should not be underestimated in some dimensions. The suggested strategy is expected to place a foundation for more meaningful South and North Korea’s sports exchange than ever.
