Abstract
Chromosome counts of 9 species ofTaraxacum sect.Palustria are given. Five species were karyologically examined for the first time, viz.T. trilobifoliumHudziok,T. lissocarpum agg.,T. paucilobumHudziok,T. subalpinumHudziok andT. mendax, a new pentaploid species. Taxonomic and nomenclatural notes are added.
