Abstract

In order to study the seismic performance of wall-beam out-of-plane joints with ECC post-cast area, seven specimens and one comparison specimen were designed considering the embeded method of reinforcement in the wall, the connecting method of reinforcement in the post cast area, the shear-to-span ratio, the slab width, etc, and the proposed static tests were carried out. The damage model, hysteresis performance, bearing capacity, stiffness degradation, and energy dissipation capacity of the specimens were analyzed and the simulation method based on the finite element software OpenSEES is given. The results show that: the use of ECC in the postcast area can effectively improve the ductility and load-bearing capacity of the specimens; the use of bent-up reinforcement lap, bent-hook reinforcement connection and sleeve connection for the reinforcement in the post-cast area can effectively transfer the reinforcement stress; the finite element analysis method proposed in this paper considering the slip of reinforcement and the characteristics of ECC material, has high accuracy and is suitable for application in engineering.
