Seepage Analysis of Plane Finite Element on Clay Core Dam of Laojunshan

Abstract

Through calculation of the seepage finite element, the result shows that the anti-seepage effect of clay core and grouting curtain is obvious. The phreatic line of dam conforms to the general law, and seepage stability of the dam meets the requirements. The sensitivity analysis of the different curtain depth indicate that there is a inflexion on the relation curve of seepage discharge and curtain depth, and to deepen continually the curtain have less effect on the dam seepage discharge when the curtain more than 50m.
