Abstract
Aim: To develop strategic model on commercialization of Mishmi teeta through sustainable approach to enhance livelihood security among Mishmi Hills community. Methodology: Various challenges encountered by Mishmi tribes in cultivating and commercialization of Mishmi teeta were compiled from secondary sources and analysed by factorisation. Expert and stakeholders insights were integrated along with climate variability of region in the present context to draw viable model for commercialization of Mishmi teeta using Smart PLS-Sem. Results: Five key factors: general challenges, local strategy, expert strategies, marketing strategies and commercialization strategies were identified as major influences on commercialization of Mishmi teeta within the Mishmi hills communities. The study showed statistically significant model, indicating that a collective approach is effective approach commercialization and enhance the livelihood security of the Mishmi Hills community. Interpretation: The model devised and the empirical data gathered in the study indicated greater means for conservation and commercialization of Mishmi teeta, which relies on the collaborative efforts of all stakeholders.
