This chapter contains selected sources related to South Asian Muslim women's health. It presents sources related to the women's physical health status, women with disabilities, mental health status, nutrition for women, health care for women, gender bias in female healthcare, maternal and infant health, reproductive health and women's choices, birth spacing, use of contraceptives and women's reproductive health, religious opinion and birth control, abortion, women's fertility, fertility and employment, female fertility trends in South Asia, socio-economic determinants of fertility, family planning programmes and fertility decline.
