Abstract

An association between secretion of soluble HLA-G by embryos and subsequent pregnancy rates has been suggested. Published studies have limited their analysis to embryos selected for the fresh transfer. A follow-up on any remaining embryos that were cryopreserved could yield additional data as regards the relationship between HLA-G level and pregnancy outcomes. This study examines the original HLA-G level in embryos frozen on Day 3 and subsequent outcomes after transfer of the cryopreserved embryo.
