Abstract
We report on second harmonic generation (SHG) in Cd-based metal-organic framework (MOF) derivatives. The MOF derivatives have an average size of 100 nm and represent the MOF composition in an amorphous phase. Intriguing, despite the latter, the nonlinear optical properties (SHG) of single MOF crystal and its derivatives is the same.
