Abstract
Second forbidden Coulomb beta-transitions are investigated and it is shown that the shape of the second forbidden Coulomb beta spectrum is similar to that of unique first forbidden transitions and that e.g. transitions in Tc 99, I 129 and Cs 135 may be interpreted as Coulomb transitions. Experiments are discussed which could verify this assumption.
