Abstract

Cw NMR measurements have been done to detect superfluidity of 3He component in 3He–4He solutions with several 3He concentrations and pressures at Larmor frequencies of 1 and 2 MHz. With reduction of the sample temperature from the hydrodynamic to the collisionless region, the NMR absorption line narrows and several satellite peaks appear. The behaviors of these peaks were investigated with variation of an external magnetic field gradient. Numerical analyses of this phenomenon as the excitation of new standing spin wave mode lead to determination of the Fermi liquid interaction parameter λ=(1+F0a)-1-(1+F1a/3)-1.
