Abstract
Tests for CPT invariance and direct CP violation in the τ sector at BaBar are presented. CPT invariance is tested by measuring the mass difference between τ + and τ − leptons. CP violation in the τ sector is tested by measuring the decay rate asymmetry for τ − → h − K S 0 ( ⩾ 0 π 0 ) ν τ .
