Abstract

Lianyungang sea area was taken as subject investigated, sunshiny and cloudless MODIS 1B remote sensing data on February 19, Marsh 16, and April 3 were chosen and some preprocessing such as geometric correction, Bowtie correction, and image resize were done successfully. Then, sea surface temperature (SST) by non-linear sea surface temperature (NLSST) algorithm was extracted (Fig. 1, 2, and 3). Research results were indicated that the average values of sea surface temperature on February 19, March 16, and April 3 were 3.87°C, 4.54°C, and 6.84°C respectively. The spatial distribution of SST on February 19 occurred gradually increase from offshore to territorial sea, while that on March 16 and April 3 presented gradually decrease. Sea surface temperature of drainage area in Tianwan nuclear power plant on three time phase was higher than average temperature value. The lowest values were 2.5724°C, 6.4532°C, and 4.9399°C respectively. The research will provide important technique support for further discussing the degree of heat pollution and negative impact on around sea area.
