Abstract

Fluors were incorporated into the matrix of microporous polymeric membranes and antibodies were subsequently bound to their surfaces. These membranes were used in competitive binding assays (secondary RIAs) for cyclic-AMP in which the bound and unbound radioligands did not require separation. Membrane-based scintillation proximity assay have utility for the detection of a variety of radioanalytes and can be configured in a number of sizes and shapes.
