Abstract

The article deals with the nature of the study of the stories of M.O Auezov, a thinker, an artist, not only in Kazakh literature, but in all human literature. It is said that the author's stories are known to the world community and are a valuable resource of our literature. Noting the relevance of the study of M. Auezov's stories in the Kazakh literary criticism, the author mentions several scholars who study the stories of writers. On the basis of scientific work, M. Auezov's stories are considered as a scientific object. The article also analyzes the works, conclusions and views of scholars who have studied the stories of the writer. The author refers to the period of research of the writer's stories, refers to the conclusions of scholars who classified the ethnographic features of M. Auezov's stories in terms of: psychology, image system, dialogic nature in the text, mythology in the writer's stories, landscape, genre research and the writer's first prose works. Considering the findings of these scientists, the analysis of the writer's stories proves the relevance and importance. In the process of comparing and classifying concepts, the author clearly expresses his opinion. The study of M. Auezov is one of the most important aspects of Kazakh literary criticism. After all, by studying the writer, we can draw conclusions about the artistic pursuits of Kazakh literature of that period. And through the works of scientists who have studied the heritage of the writer, we can recognize the personality and creativity of the writer. Therefore, it is clear that the two processes that develop from each other have a great impact on the study of Kazakh literature. Therefore, the author concludes that in modern Kazakh literary criticism the importance of work to understand the artistic presumption of the writer's work has increased and the need for research.
