Abstract
This study investigates the innovativeness, leadership competence, and productivity of school heads among elementary schools in the Schools Division of Antique, Philippines, for the school year 2023-2024. Using a descriptive-correlational research design, the study assesses the levels of these competencies and their interrelationships, while identifying significant differences across demographic factors such as age, sex, educational attainment, school type, and length of service. Findings reveal that while school heads generally exhibit high levels of innovativeness and leadership competence, significant differences exist based on educational attainment. Moreover, a positive relationship between leadership competence and productivity is observed. The study emphasizes the need for targeted professional development to enhance school heads’ competencies in fostering an effective learning environment.
