Abstract

The scattering of electromagnetic waves from a slightly rough surface moving with uniform velocity is investigated.Rice's generalization of Rayleigh's expansion for the scattered fields and Lorentz transformation are used to relate the fields in the moving and stationary reference frames. In the development we also use the principle of phase in variance and the covariance nature of the electromagnetic fields.
