Abstract
Reflectivity of a ferrite lined conducting plane has been determined by considering the scattered fields, for horizontal Hertzian dipole excitation, with and without the ferrite lining. Numerical results for a particular ferrite type reveals that the scattered fields undergo significant attenuation even when the thickness of the ferrite lining is small compared to the wavelength of the incident field.
