Abstract

Abstract The electron wave functions as well as the phonon wave functions in a superlattice are studied for a model system. The quantized version of the real space transfereffect (QRST) is investigated in terms of the inter-band transition matrix elements due to interactions with ionized impurities and quasi-2D polar optical phonons.
