Abstract

An analytical‐numerical method of analysis is presented for two‐dimensional wave diffraction by an open circular resistive strip. The method is based on the dual series equations regularization approach and results in algorithms with accuracy limited only by a computer's digital precision. Scattering and absorption cross sections are computed as functions of frequency for lossless and lossy strips.
