Abstract

Magnetization measurements are performed on MTG (Y1−xPrx)Ba2Cu3O7−δ samples with x=0 and 0.08. The magnetic hysteresis loops and related critical current densities for different temperatures are found to exhibit scaling bejavior when H, M and Jc are normalized correspondingly. It is shown that this behavior can be described qualitatively well for low scaled field (h) region based on an extended critical-state model. Also, Pr doping is found not to affect the scaling behavior itself in the investigated level.
