Abstract

Lately, in a sustainable approach, alkaline earth metal molybdate is usually synthesized through a variety of intricate techniques. In this green synthetic assessment, we report the obtention of strontium molybdate crystalline particles prepared through the solid-state metathetic route and the sonochemical method at room temperature. Experimental analysis over the material exposes that the scheelite-type SrMoO4 develops in tetragonal structure. Further, the textural properties, surface morphology, chemical compositions were detailedly studied by several spectroscopic techniques. The electronic structure acquired by theoretic estimations and analytical results discovered that the prepared SrMoO4 offers appropriate band positions to be utilized in electrocatalytic practices. Therefore, the prepared catalysts were analyzed to sense the least explored anti-androgen Bicalutamide. Consequently, to results, the sustainably synthesized SrMoO4 through the sonochemical route was able to sense the drug precisely in biological matrices.
