Abstract
Abstract Sandvik Sanmac SAF 2205 (a Sandvik hollow bar material) is a duplex ferritic/austenitic stainless steel grade in hollow bar that meets the chemical requirements of WNr. 1.446, SAF 2205 and UNS S31803, but has improved machinability. Recommendations on cutting are given on machining with modern CNC machines. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, elasticity, and tensile properties.
