Abstract

A measurement audit is a method for sampling a calibration laboratory's measurements and assessing its performance against the limit of its claimed uncertainties of measurement. It is also a technique that supports quality assurance of all aspects of a laboratory's calibration system. This paper describes various methods of performing and assessing the results of measurement audits.
