Abstract

For a long time, in the air traffic control work of military aircraft crossing civil airways, there are many problems, such as large vertical separation, low utilization rate of airspace resources and non-standard separation standard when civil aircraft avoiding military aircraft. Civil aircraft generally avoid military aircraft at vertical separations of 1200 meters above and below, which obviously limits the improvement of airspace operation efficiency. It is an important task for all airline personnel to promote the integration of military and civil aviation, improve the utilization rate as well as operation efficiency of airspace, and promote the safe and orderly development of aviation activities. By applying the EVENT model and the concept of the risk zone at the crossing point of the air route, and calculating the collision risk probability of civil and military aircraft under different parameter combinations, the conformity degree of target level of safety of civil and military aircraft operation is tested, and the optimal vertical separation is determined, thus providing a basis for the vertical separation required by military aircraft crossing civil routes. Although in reality, the altitude maintenance ability of military aircraft will vary with different models; However, with the popularization of high performance military aircraft and the improvement of level maintenance capability, this index is no longer a constraint factor for the implementation of the reduced vertical separation. In this study, the operational risks of military and civil aircraft were calculated scientifically, and the safety of implementing smaller vertical separations in air traffic control was verified. 300 meters is taken as the vertical separation during military aircraft crossing civil routes.
