Abstract

Objective To explore the clinical effect of total thoracoscopic cardiac surgery. Methods A total of 110 patients undergoing mitral valve replacement surgery were enrolled in our hospital from August 2014 to November 2017 .They were divided into observation group (total thoracoscopic heart surgery) and control group (traditional center) according to different surgical methods. The surgical data were retrospectively analyze in the two groups. Results There was no significant difference in intraoperative blood transfusion and operation time between the two groups (t=0.710 and 1.610; P>0.05), but the aortic block time and extracorporeal circulation time in the observation group were significantly longer than those in the control group (t=4.380 and 6.340; P 0.05), and the proportion of postoperative analgesics used in 10 patients (18.18%) in the observation group was significantly lower than that in 29 patients (52.73%) in the control group (χ2=14.341, P<0.05). Conclusion Total thoracoscopic cardiac surgery and traditional median thoracotomy are effective mitral valve replacement methods, and the safety of the two is equivalent. Under the premise of reasonable understanding of the indications, total thoracoscopic cardiac surgery can effectively reduce the operation trauma and postoperative drainage, and promote recovery of patients as soon as possible after surgery, leading to the improvement of the quality of life of patients.
