Abstract
To review all gynecologic laparoscopic cases performed by the study investigators from 1996 – 2010 to identify entry-related complications. The abdominal entry technique is a modified direct entry technique with the Veress needle based on previously studied principles of anatomy and physics encountered during GYN laparoscopy. The technique employed had been previously published by the senior authors, and is the primary method used.
