Abstract
To prevent bleeding and healing the artificial ulcer after endoscopic submucosal dissection, elevated intra-gastric pH is important. Intravenous bolus loading followed by continuous infusion of proton pump inhibitor (PPI) is the standard treatment of choice for the prevention of gastric ulcer bleeding. The optimal dose of proton pump inhibitor (PPI) for the prevention of bleeding after endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is unclear. Our aim is to compare the effects of continuous infusion and bolus injection of PPI for the prevention of delayed bleeding after gastric ESD.
