Abstract
The role of endoscopic treatment with cyanoacrylate has not been compared to placement of a Transjugular Intrahepatic Portosystemic Shunt (TIPS) for management of acute gastric variceal bleeding. We aimed to compare the short-term outcomes of patients treated with cyanoacrylate injection vs. TIPS for the management of acute gastric variceal bleeding.
