Abstract

The Victorian era was the great innovative age in British history. The civil engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, lived in from 1806 to 1859, was worked in the first half years of the age. The Great Exhibition in 1851 was a symbolic event of that age. The exhibition was conducted by the Prince Albert of husband of the Queen Victoria. The exhibition was successfully ended and the number of over six million people participated. It had been promoted by the British society, technology and science in the contemporary associates of Brunel. A number of people of civil engineers, architects, artists, scientists, etc, proceeded successfully the project and for the future. This paper describes to as introduction to the topics which are relating to the field of history of technology and engineering education.
